Benjamin Kalu has received several awards including: Outstanding Rep Member of the Year (Democracy Heroes Award Africa, 2022), Outstanding Legislative Contribution Award for improving tuberculosis policy in Nigeria, Distinguished National Youths Motivator Award (University of Nsukka, 2018), and Hall of Fame Category Award as Most Valuable Legislator.
